The Kutler Center supports Harvard-Westlake's global education programs and other experiential learning opportunities. These programs allow students to experience interdisciplinary concepts in action, to develop empathy, and to expand cultural competence. Students connect with peers in the community, across the United States, and around the world. Most of these opportunities involve educational travel and exploration either alone or with a Harvard-Westlake faculty member.

Harvard-Westlake has invited a small number of students to campus for short term exchanges through our association with WLSA, an international coalition of schools where half are from China and half are from the rest of the world. Harvard-Westlake students have also been able to visit China for cultural and educational experiences as well.  If you are interested in these programs, please contact Jim Patterson, Director of the Kutler Center.

Harvard-Westlake seniors can apply for the Brownstein and Service Year Fellowships which support gap year programs.
