The Sophomore Summer Fellowship for Immersive Exploration and Enrichment enables a selected sophomore pursue an independent, immersive project in the summer between 10th and 11th grade. Rising juniors may use this fellowship to attend an exploratory or enriching immersion program (or similar pursuit) that helps extend the horizon of their imagination beyond Harvard-Westlake’s campus. Pursuits may be independent or with an established educational travel organization. Fellows extend and enhance their knowledge beyond the boundaries of the traditional classroom in destinations around the United States and the world. A committee of current upper school faculty will award the $2000 fellowship to a current 10th grade student.
