World Civilizations

This course further acquaints students with life in a variety of non-European cultures. Students learn how geography, history, and cultural diffusion contribute to societal change. Skills taught include detecting cultural bias, essay writing, and using primary and secondary sources with appropriate bibliography and endnotes to produce expository essays. Continuing development of study skills is also part of the program.
